O Ramaa!nee peru paapasamudrajalamunu lolopale dahinchu badabaagni.Brathuku anu adaviloni duhkhamu anedi agnini challaarchu amrutha varshamu.Anthuleni chedu mathaachaaraadulanu khandinchu gandragoddali.
Hey Rama!your name is so pious and beautiful. It is like a fire which dries the sea of badness. In the forest of life,it is like god sent rain to put out fire of problems and sorrow. It is like a spade which cuts wood of unreligious and blatant people. This poem reveals that he was unhappy over certain section of people who were against god Sree rama.He was not competent enough to teach them a lesson. So,he is hoping that god will look after those bad people. He feels strongly that the chanting of the name Rama, itself will clear us off all the wrongs we do.It saves us like a ladder in deep seas of sorrow.
