Gopanna feels there is one and only one god,that is Rama.Mindless people pray many small and mediocre dieties.It is a fruitless activity.It is as if we reject Sweet sugar and go for bitter tasteof some other things.If we have to pray ,we should pray RAMA only,.If there is anyone who can bestow moksha to us,he Is Rama only.There is no other god as capable as Rama.

Raamudi gunaganaalanu keerthinchatamlo Gopannaku saati verevaru lerani ee padyam dwaaraa thelusthundi.Raamudu goramaina paapaalanu nasimpa jesevaadu.Manchi gunamulache nirminchabadina lathalaku aavaasamayina vaadu.Kaama,krodha,lobha,moha mada maathsaryaalanuvikaaraalanu jayinchinavaadu.Manchivaarini takshinchatamane prakriyanu vratham laagaa jeevithaantham aacharinchina goppavaadu.Alaanti aathmaaraamude naa daivamu ani gopanna keerthisthunnaadu.Yerra mandaaramulavanti athani paadakamalaalanu poojinchatam,bhajinchatame naa nithya kruthyam ani ninadisthunnaadu.

Gopanna is relentless in praising his lord,Sree raama.Raama puts an end to all the vices in this world.He is an abode for the creeper of all the good qualities that should be there in a man.He has control over all the six vikaras---kaama,krodha,lobha,mada maathsaryaas.They are lust,anger,miser,wants and being proud.He has made it a rule to protect all the good people and follows it a yagna.,through out his life.That Rama is Gopannas master.Gopanna is content to pray his feet which are like red lotus flowers.He is eager to follow his foot steps.

Gopaanaa is immersed in praising Rama and his greatness.He is alluring his greatness,name and fame to a woman.He is saying that Rama is the savior of intellectuals.He protects us from all bad deeds.He is prayed by Great souls like Brahma,Indra and many others.He is such a great archer that he could cut all the ten heads of Ravana,the demon.Gopanna is saying that he would garland the keerthikantha of Rama with garland of his poetry.He would dedicate his writings to Ramas greatness,which he is symbolising as a woman.

To move against the flow of river is very difficult.Inspite of your enormous strngth ,it would be practically difficult to ride against the tide .There are many other such acts which are as strenuous,according to the writers view.Master should know the work he is asking his servants to perform.If he can not assess the work load or its technicalities,you would not get any recognition for the sincere work you do.Your hard work would go unrewarded.So,the writer is telling us not to work under one who fails to understand your hardship in executing the work allotted. One should not have sex with a woman ,who does not know the delicacies and intricacies of the act .She would not know how to satisfy you or how to satisfy herself in the act.Such copulation is meaningless and a mere waste of energy . You should be able to build your future on the steps of friendship.You should improve your character with the help of good friends and friendship.But if you remain to be a loser and affected by friendship,such friendship is not worth maintaining or continuing. Writer feels these things are more detrimental than ride against the tide.

Hey Rama!you are a mine of kindness.Your name is very pious.People ,who chant your name always and have consistant mind to serve you ,are great.Gopanna is admitting that he would keep the dust of their feet to his head with reverence.Because ,even Yama would order his servants not to go near such great people.Rama nama japam is like Vajrayudham to people to live a peaceful and meaningful life.

Gopaanaa wants to sacrifice his entire life in bhagavannaama smarana.But he is afrai that under certain situations ,it might not be possible for him to pray him wholeheartedly.So he wants to chant Rama naama japam now itself.You can see how far sighted he is.He is anxious that he might not be in a position to pray him when in old age he is nearing his death.May be that he cant devote his precious time in praying when he is suffering with diseases.He might not be in a position to sing Rama naama keerthanas if phlegm obstructs his throat.When he is crowded with relations and friends ,he might not get chance to allot space and time to indulge in Ramas prayers.So,now he does not want to waste even a single second .Without wasting time,now itself ,he wants to engage himself in Rama nama japam.

Chanting of Rama nama is blissful.Every one is benefited in one way or other . Siva ,Parvathi,Vibheeshanudu chant this Rama nama manthra unerringly and eternally.Siva himself said--- Sree raama raama raamethi,rame raame manorame Sahasranaama thaththulyam raama naama varaanane! to Parvathi.He feels that Vishnu is the ultimate.Rama is one of his Avatharas. Vibheeshana,though he was born as brother to Ravana.he was a bhaktha of Sree rama.In the great Rama -Ravana war ,he sided with Rama.So as a token of love and affection,Rama gave him the kingdom of Lanka . In Gajendra moksham ,when Crocodile catches at The elephant,Gajendra,he pleads to Vishnu. Laavokkinthayu ledu,dhairyami vilolambayye--- Then,Vishnu runs to save him .He is so hasty that he does not tell Lakshmi ,the fact. AHALYA WAS TURNED INTO A STONE BY HER HUSBAND.MERE TOUCH OF his divine feet were enough to bring back her .When Droupadi was humiliated in the court of Dhrutharashtra by his sons,Krishna comes to her rescue,when even her husbands sit still in humiliation.So when ever.a real and sicere devotee of Rama seeks his help ,he comes to his/her rescue. I am also a strong fan of Rama.When I had no means of sorting out the problems to send my son Abroad for higher studies,I started writing,Sree raama daily.He fulfilled my desire.When I was tensed up regarding my daughters marriage,I started writing Ramayana in blog,with the intention that he would consider my request and see that my daughters marriage happens smoothly.He came to my help. Now,when my husband Prasad passed away,My only way to peace is writing Ramayana,Maha bharatha,and bhagavadgeetha in blogs.They make me feel I am not alone in this world.Rama is there to help me. Kancherla gopanna is requesting Rama to see that his great name be on his tongue till eternity.

Hey Rama!your name is so pious and beautiful.It is like a fire which dries the sea of badness.In the forest of life,it is like god sent rain to put out fire of problems and sorrow.It is like a spade which cuts wood of unreligious and blatant people.This poem reveals that he was unhappy over certain section of people who were against god Sree rama.He was not competent enough to teach them a lesson.So,he is hoping that god will look after those bad people.He feels strongly that the chanting of the name Rama,itself will clear us off all the wrongs we do.It saves us like a ladder in deep seas of sorrow.
